I'm watching the talking heads from various networks give their opinions about what they expect to see on Monday. What they're saying mostly is that they are expecting a very close game and that (maybe) Michigan just might pull it out because they expect the Washington QB to be on point. Of course that's one possibility that you have to consider.

However, the things that stick out in my mind is, 1) Michigan is the most experienced of the two squads with this not only being their third playoff appearance in a row, but that this is their fourth playoff game and they are used to being under playoff pressure. Their coordinators are playing in their third game as coordinators being used to playoff pressure. Of course Washington just beat a very good Texas team which counts for something but Alabama (not counting last year) is a 5* ladened playoff hardened team with Saban as their coach. The talking heads were expecting the 4th seed to upset the 1st seed because of it. JJ has played in the playoffs against Georgia, TCU, Bama and his experience I believe will give him the edge under pressure. Michigan's defense has also the same experience.
2) Washington hasn't seen anything like Blake Corum (et-al) and he and they will be difficult to contain. Michigan's offensive line is still very formidable and will be more physical. 3) Washington hasn't seen a defense quite like Michigan's this year which is #1 overall and even though Washington may plan some quick passes and special plays, Michigan will be quick and physical with their disruption along with showing multiple looks will help to throw Washington's timing off.

Washington beating Oregon twice and Texas is no small feat and should be respected; they are very well coached. However, Michigan (even with our warts) is the best overall "team" in the country with a set of coaches that are second to none. 4) These Michigan players have set their goal on winning this "Natty" and declared it publically from the moment last year's playoff game was over. They prepared for this season and this year believing and knowing that they would be here to take home the title and I'm in agreement with them. I think that counts for something. Go Blue!!! That's my thoughts on it, what do you think? IMHO!!!

Great run down VOR. I read every word and loved it! I agree.

This is the best Michigan team most of us have seen in our lifetime. From the coaches, coordinators, head coach to every starter, sub and special teams players.

Go Blue!

Penis is going to get his nutt but will it be enough and will the D keep UW to FGs. The key is not getting significantly behind. As long as the game is close in the 4th, it’s ours. Texas had #96 ranked pass defense, we have #1 so just throwing jump balls won’t work. UM by 10

Did Missouri have OSU's signals too. Ryan Day's little prank on Harbaugh has, in a word, backfired. OSU is turning into a dumpster fire. Players jumping ship, hints of sign stealing themselves, fan base unrest, Day on the hot seat, etc. I wonder what tomorrow will bring?

Ryan days not on a hot seat. For your information and tomorrow will bring nothing but excitement because Michigan is in the title game

Jamahl Banks is a stud. His numbers were off the chart last year, leading his conference in a lot of categories. He'd be a huge addition.

This baffles me... from Saban, about how huddles messed up Bama D.

“They’re the only team that we played all season that got into a huddle. So, you know, it used to be every team was in a huddle. We play our first team of the season where we’re playing a team in a huddle, so you don’t have the advantage of seeing those formations until they come out of the huddle, so you got to make the calls.”

In other words, unless your no-huddle has a tempo, the defense can call its play, knowing the opponents’ formation. In the Rose Bowl, Alabama’s defensive coaches had to call alignments without seeing the Wolverines’ formation because there wasn’t time."
