Sherrone said when he was hired that he wanted to add more resources to the recruiting department. He delivered on that promise with the rumored hire of Georgia recruiting analyst John Collins and former Wolverine Jack Dunaway to Assistant Director of Recruiting roles.
It is also expected that Sherrone will be adding SMU Garrett Clawson as a special teams analyst. Clawson is a former All-American kicker at Robert Morris.
Winning is about having great resources in all parts of the football organization. These sound like some great hires.
- Dusty is already in contact with Wisconsin transfer Connor Essegian.
- Michigan is getting top recruits on campus. Which is a great sign, let's hope the National Champs can close on some of these top prospects.
- FAU hired Baylor assistant John Jakus to replace Dusty
- Love that both Mason Graham and Ken Grant both confirmed their love of Michigan, their teammates and they are not chasing any NIL offers from other programs.
- JJ will have a private workout with the Giants on Sunday.

Who is the overall director of recruiting? I know Mike Elston was recruiting coordinator when he was here... Yes it's great to see top recruits coming on campus
The news on JJ is fascinating! Wonder what pic he goes at ....
I don't get these 'private workouts'. If scouts haven't seen enough of J.J. after 2 full seasons, then I don't know what they're looking at. Maybe some psychology questions, sure. try to get inside someone's head. But c'mon, it's all on tape, just watch it.
I think a lot of these moves, like private workouts, are posturing by NFL teams. When a team really wants someone, they don't make it obvious. Look at how Brad Holmes drafted Jamir Gibbs. Nobody saw that coming. Valenti will shit himself having to root for a Michigan QB if he goes to the Giants. Lol
Caleb Williams= Justin Fields 2.0 Not a fan.
Brady, Mike Valenti has already said he'll embrace JJ as he's a better option than Danny Dimes or the corpse of Drew Lock
Chowman- Lol I hate Valenti, but he can be funny.
Brady He used to get on my nerves, but he does speak from a place of truth a lot of times. He just has an inherent hatred of UofM. Can't say I'm not the same toward MSU. He's taught me to expect more from the teams I root for. he does blow some stuff way out of proportion but he's no where as bad a Ricco. While neither will try and disguise there hate of anything UofM, if Michigan has something good going for it, Valenti will give them their props. Ricco will never admit Michigan is good and will always rate them lower than other programs even if they are not.
