Michigan Friday: 2 New Transfer Portal Names

It's been a mystery why Michigan Football hasn't been aggressive in the transfer portal this session or even this past 5 months.   We have seen an offensive lineman, a kicker, a FCS WR, and a former Wolverine from the portal join the National Champions.

Two new names have emerged as potential Michigan targets.

First is Wesley Walker from Tennessee - W2 is reportedly on campus this weekend. Walker is a 6'1 200 pound safety from Nashville. He played two years at UT with last year having 33 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 forced fumble.  In 22, he had 36 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 pick.  Walker had transferred to UT from Georgia Tech (2019-2021), left UT this winter (2022 and 2023 seasons), and went through spring ball with Louisville, and is now back in the portal.   Well, the guy has experience playing safety!  He is also expected to visit USC.

Next is Terrance Brooks CB from Texas.  Terrance is 6'0 and 209 pound CB.  Brooks is a former 4 star CB who was once committed to Ohio State out of high school but made a late flip to TX.  He started 13 games last season had 3 picks and 20 tackles and was honorable mentioned All Big 12.  Brooks is getting a ton of attention for many teams looking to fill a void at CB.

Jaden Mangham former MSU DB is also expected to visit Ann Arbor soon.  If he commits, MSU Twitter will explode. His brother  (also a former Spartan RB) just committed to Minnesota.

  • Gene Smith who is the lame duck AD at Ohio State thinks Michigan's win streak over the Buckeyes should have an asterisk due to a used vacuum repair man.   So long Gene! 😢
  • OSU's new OC Chip Kelly is being called out by his former NFL players DeSean Jackson and LeSean McCoy for not treating black players fairly.

After all those decades of cheating, now OSU's Gene Smith is acting like an angel. Hey Gene, go fuck yourself!
