Football is quiet right now as there isn't much happening in the portal or with recruits. So the focus turns to Dusty and everything he is doing with the fast rebuild of the Basketball Program.
With Khani Rooths continuing to have an open recruitment, Michigan maybe looking to St. Mary decommit Zion Sensley. Zion is a 4-star 6'8 and 180 pound wing who committed to St. Mary back in August. He was ranked the 105th player in the country by 24/7 at the time.
Here is the quote at the time he committed:"I chose Saint Mary's because coach [Randy] Bennett and coach Justin Joyner have been recruiting me probably the longest out of every school," said Sensley. "They came to watch me at my high school during my freshman year and we built a great relationship since then. Saint Mary's is a winning program, they're always in the tournament and I am going there to develop and make my odds higher to get to the NBA."
So why did he decommit? Justin Joyner works for Dusty now.
What's the hold up? St. Mary won't let Zion out of his NLI (National Letter of Intent not to be confused with NIL Name, Image, and Likeness). Zion is expected to have to petition the NCAA to get out of his NLI with St. Mary. Or St. Mary will succumb to pressure from the media.
6'8 4-star wing? Yes, please!
- Michigan hired a NIL GM from the NFLPA in Terese Whitehead. Terese is a proud Michigan alumni and will do a great job in this role.
- CJ West the Kent State DT who had a portal offer from Michigan, never visited and picked IU.
- Dusty during his press conference said, he couldn't offer a number of kids in the portal. Recruiting guys that can get passed admissions seems to be a much better strategy then what Juwan was trying to do.

I agree that whitehead seems really sharp. But what does that job actually do? Didn’t see an actual explanation
It's a bad look when school's don't want to let kids out of their LoI. It's a lose/lose for both sides. Do you really want a player on the team that doesn't want to be there?
