Michigan Tuesday: Welcomes DL Jaylen Williams

24/7

Michigan picked up its first commit of June with the commitment of weekend visitor Jaylen Williams.  Jaylen is 6'6  265 pound 4 star 2025 defensive lineman who started visiting Ann Arbor for the Big House BBQ last summer.

Jaylen must love Michigan because he has been recruited by Mike Elston, Greg Scruggs, and now Low Esposito in a short few months.   My relationship with Coach Espo has been great,” Williams said. “He is a great coach, but just an overall great man. Since he first got hired at Michigan, he always been on me to show me that I’m a priority and that I belong in at Michigan! Coach Espo is building a special defensive line.”

Williams could play Edge or DT at Michigan,  development in S&C program and practices will determine where he lands long term.  Jaylen also happens to be close with fellow Illinois commit Nate Marshall.

Jaylen's offer list included: Auburn, Florida, FSU, Illinois, Iowa, OSU, Oregon, Tenn, USC, Texas A&M, and Wisconsin.

Welcome Jaylen!
