Sherrone had a very good day on Monday between 5:00-6:00 est. Yes, he knew the commitments were coming on Sunday but both were made official on Monday late afternoon.
The first commit on Monday came from 4-star CB from Florida Ivan Taylor who was committed to ND. He is the son of former NFL CB Ike Taylor. He is 6'0 and 180 pounds and had offers from Bama, Florida, FAU, FSU, Miami, Ole Miss, PSU, South Carolina, Tenn, USC, Wisconsin and more.
The second commit on Tuesday was 4-star TE from PA Andrew Olesh. Andrew is 6'5 215 pounds with offers from Bama, PSU. Florida, Arkansas, Auburn, BC, Colorado, Duke, FSU, Miami, Texas A&M, VT, and WVU.
The Michigan coaches were very high on both guys with Taylor being their highest ranked commit at #41 on 24/7 and #84 for Andrew. Michigan now has 4 commits in the top 100 players. (24/7)
Getting 2 more highly ranked recruits and continuing on its 2025 summer commitment train has moved Michigan to the 11th class on 24/7. Michigan now has 15 commits with needs at CB, WR, and offensive line. Who is next?
- Rod Moore continues to heal and rehab from his ACL injury. Let's hold the phone on him playing next season. Safety needs a ton of athleticism and to me it's a long shot if he makes it back on the field next season. He also has a pro career to consider.

Sherrone is nailing the recruiting war, but how much of this is "coat tail effect" of winning the NC, and how much is reflected in natural ability. I want Michigan to be victorious, but replacing the quarter back and whole front
cannot be underestimated!
Harbaugh taking his staff to the Chargers is a blessing in disguise. It gave Sherrone the opportunity to bring in elite recruiters. Esposito and Morgan are bringing in top 100 guys with whom they didnt have the opportunity to establish relationships while at Louisiana and Western. Can't wait to see what they do with a full year under their belt. Their 2025 haul has been incredibly impressive.
