The Big Ten took all the drama out of the Big Ten Championship game, at least for one team. After announcing yesterday that Oregon has qualified for the game after they did some math. Fantastic job Big Ten of making a quiet release about the Championship game!

Somebody remind me what Biff Poggi did on Harbaugh's staff other than help recruit the DMV? Is he a defense guy? Offensive mind? I get it, they're not firing Sherrone Moore, but what does it say when your HC needs a babysitter? If you need to hire someone to tell your HC how to be a HC, then maybe he's not the right guy to be the HC. Just sayin'
Biff had ties to a high school pipeline of talent. Not really a great coach. Recruiting is prob the only thing we don't need help with. I dont understand the clamoring for Biff.
Thank you Brady for confirming my thoughts! Jim added Biff to the staff to get some of those St. Francis players. He brought nothing more to the table. Didn't he leave Michigan and go back to HS, before doing a 2nd stint in AA, then took the Charlotte job? Again, hiring Biff is like hiring a plumber, then hiring a 2nd plumber to tell the first plumber how to fix your plumbing. I'll just hire the 2nd guy!
My thoughts on Northwestern. Another struggling .500 program, but that's what Northwestern has always been. Line is 38 total points, which means both of these behemoths should score somewhere in the teens. Michigan has home field advantage, which is always good for 3 pts. Take NW and the +14 points. Michigan seniors pull one out on Senior Day with the help of a 2 pt conversion. UM-18, Northwestern-17
Its the same reason Jim added Chris Partridge to the staff, to recruit NJ! Only difference is Partridge could coach a little bit and coached the LBs.
Look you want to bring in an experienced coach to the staff, bring in Tom Herman. He'd be an upgrade from Kirk Campbell. I know that's not saying much, my Weimaraner would be an upgrade from Kirk Campbell!

Chowman- NW actually has a pretty good defense. But like UM, can't score in a whorehouse. If the weather is bad, this could be torture to watch. UM should win despite of Sherrone, strictly by talent.
Sherrone reveled he consults with Jimmy at least a couple times per week. Said he also talks w Bob Stoops, his former HC at Oklahoma. Make what you will of this.
