Was Herbstreit's kid worthy of a scholarship or is this just a political maneuver? Also, these new recruiting lists for college December 4th involve money now? How is it handled verbal or is a contract signed? Will the NCAA have to draw up contract papers so everyone is using the same thing?

MUST VIEW- Cameras zoomed in on Sherrone Saturday at the basketball game and put on the jumbotron. Sherrone received a standing ovation while the band played The Victors. But the best part was when Sherrone imitated planting the flag. He made the flag planting gesture several times, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Classic. Oh, Bryce was seated next to Sherrone.
Im no attorney, but heard it's more of a legal contract than just a commitment. I heard papers will have to be signed every semester to renew the 'contract' or to transfer out.
Herbie Jr is real, kid can play. His high school is an Ohio powerhouse. Hard to find someone now a days willing to just come in and compete.
Thanx Brady for info ...... your description about the flag planting is "gold" ..... would not have known until I read it. Just a month or so ago someone complained a few of us were commenting too much! Bob is No. 1 amongst us but he can't cover all the bases .... that's where you, Sarenzo (spelling?), and Chowman, etc. step to the plate.
I for one was a Sherrone hater! but Sherrone kind of grows on you, beating Ohio State, and pretending to plant the flag; convinced me he is "good to go" ..... but I might have to eat my words if Alabama tears us a "new one"
Sherrone is growing on me, too. There is hope!
