- News from QB's that once were interested in Michigan: Kevin Newsome is visiting OSU for the Michigan - OSU game. Eugene Smith, FL QB is going to commit to West Virgina. Michigan is done at QB for this class, so no biggie.
- Will Campbell the 5 star DT from the state of Michigan, will now start his recruiting process after de-committing from the Wolverines earlier this fall. He will take trips to LSU and most likely Miami. Many still believe that Big Will is still heading to Michigan. Let's hope!
- OK DT Pearlie Graves just announced Michigan as his leader.
- Florida Safety (and former OSU recruit) Vlad Emilien is down to his final 2 of Michigan and Wisconsin. He is going to take an official to Stanford this weekend. He is planning to announce on 11/23.
- There are some rumors/whispers that former Michigan WR verbal commit Bryce McNeal might be re-thinking Michigan as his choice. He witnessed what Michigan did through the air vs his local Golden Gophers on Saturday, which might have him re-thinking a few things. Stay tuned on this one. He could have a new favorite tomorrow!
- If Michigan can lock up: Campbell, Graves, and keep the commitment of LA DT DeQuinta Jones, they will be all set at the DT (they also have two top rated DE's in Roh and LaLota) and move to other recruiting priorities. Which include: Outside "Big" WR's and Defensive Backs.
- "Snake Oil Alert": Michigan has been recruiting WR Jamal Patterson "hard" per Jamal , but he remains verbally committed to Stanford.
- Michigan had a number of official visitors coming to Ann Arbor this weekend but many had to cancel due to their teams still being alive in their state's playoffs.
- Rich Rod and staff will have a few extra weeks this year to hit the streets and recruit players with the extra time in December.
