Gardner Commits to the Wolverines

Just a few moments ago Devin Gardner the top rated Quarterback in the State of Michigan committed to play his college ball in 2010 and beyond in Ann Arbor. Devin has been a "silent" commit to the Wolverines since Junior Day back in March, but wanted to wait to do his official announcement after his basketball season.

Gardner is 6"4 195 pounds and is Rivals #177 player in the nation. In 2008, Gardner completed 98 of 170 passes (57.6 percent) for 1,886 yards, 26 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He rushed for 1,401 yards and 22 touchdowns on 115 carries.

As mentioned in my post earlier today, Gardner gives Michigan much needed depth at QB for 2010 and the following years. Gardner will join the highly recruited Tate Forcier and Denard Robinson as future Wolverine signal callers.
Devin is Michigan's 7th commitment for the class of 2010.
