Boy there is a lot recruiting news going around lately. This weekend will be a big recruiting weekend for the Michigan football program with the "Big Chill" Hockey Game at the Big House.

The only guys on "commitment watch" are Chris Bryant and Desmond Morgan. Zettel is planning to announce after January 1 and after the coaching situation is cleared up.
- Michigan 2011 CB/S Recruit Avery Walls is planning to announce his decision next Tuesday. He was a strong Michigan lean before he visited Oregon. Michigan really needs this young man but I think he might be a Duck.
- Tim Jernigan a big time DT prospect from Florida has seemed to have dropped the Wolverines from his list.
- Michigan verbal Shawn Conway will enroll at Grand Rapids Community College.
- Former Michigan QB recruit Kevin Newsome might be transferring from Penn State.
- Michigan has offered a new TE/LB from Ohio Frank Clark, yes he plays for Glenville.

That would be Grand Rapids Community College, NOT Junior College! For several decades now, many GRCC graduates have transferred to the U of M to complete their undergraduate degrees. Let us hope that Shawn Conway also will be successful in this regard. And, not incidentally, GRCC has a very competitive & successful football program in its own right.
