Michigan Thursday: Moves to Tight End

The news breaking today is that Michigan commit Pharaoh Brown will play TE instead of DE at Michigan.  Really?  Even before he steps on campus he has already changed positions?  Brown is a great athlete and plays everything from TE to DE to QB in high school.  I think it makes sense to wait until he gets on campus before we make any judgements on his position.   I'm guessing Pharaoh will play at a position that gives him the best possible opportunity for success and early playing time.

  • Michigan Basketball got signed LOI's from Mitch McGary and Glen Robinson III yesterday.   Nick Stauskas is supposed to sign his on Friday.

  • It seems Michigan is back in it for 5 star WR Stefon Diggs who was Blake "the count" Countess teammate in high school.  Stefon has some academic issues but I guess he has done some good work in the classroom and would now be eligible to enroll at Michigan.   Keep an eye on this recruitment.

  • It seems that Michigan's recruitment of Bri'onte Dunn continues even after accepting the scholarship offer of Ann Arbor Pioneer RB Drake Johnson.   So Michigan has 4 spots left and still need 2 WR's, 1 OL and 1 DB/Safety.  I guess if they take Dunn they would not bring in another offensive lineman.
