The Michigan Football program will recognize three of its
all-time great football players by bringing back their retired numbers and putting on the Michigan Legends Patch over the left upper chest of the current jersey. The new "Legends" jerseys include President Gerald Ford's #48, Ron Kramer's #87 and
Bennie Oosterbaan's #47.
I like this new tradition because it allows the former players to be recognized, while giving the honor to a current player. It's also a great recruiting tool to say you could wear a former President's number or a guy like Charles Woodson or Desmond Howard.
- Logan Tulley-Tillman gets an invite to Nike's Opening.
- Michigan is in negotiations to work on a contract with a PAC 12 team to start the new Big 10- PAC 12 regular season partnership. I am sure we will hear a name and some dates this week (probably Utah).
