Wolverine Wednesday: Big House Blog Bullets

  • Zack Novak could be headed to Holland to play professional basketball.   I assume they don't run the floor in those wooden shoes.

  • There is talk that Dymonte Thomas could play both Football and Baseball at Michigan.   Is there another 5 star recruit that has had a quieter summer then Dymonte?  He didn't do the camp thing and just did an NFL 7on7 in Indy last weekend.   He preformed well:  Playing safety for the Browns was Michigan commit Dymonte Thomas, who was as good as advertised. A good looking prospect on the hoof, the nation's No. 7 safety glides around the secondary, eating up turf to make deflections on throws to the other side of the field. On one particular play Thomas ran right, only to change direction when he saw the play was going the other way to get a pass breakup on a throw to the left side of the field.

  • It seems Michigan has re-connected with CB Vernon Hargreave through Shane Morris.  If your interested, Vernon is rated as a 5 star player and #9 ranked player in the country by Rivals.   Vernon is talking a visit to Ann Arbor.   He is from Tampa and pretty much has an offer from every major program in college football.  Sounds like Shane and Vernon became friends during the Opening and both will be at the Gridiron Kings next week as well.   ABC Shane!  (Always Be Closing!)

  • Darius Morris is playing well for the Lakers in the Summer League.

  • ESPN ranks Denard as the top QB in the Big 10.
