Michigan QB Denard Robinson is on the regional cover of Sports Illustrated for their College Preview edition.
- Woodly picks up the entire districts pay for play fees in Saginaw. Well done Wood!
- ESPN will be have the College Gameday Set in Dallas for Michigan vs. Bama.
- 4 star OL Riley Norman, out of Cadillac, MI commits to MSU for track and does not plan to play football in college.
- AZ is drinking the RR kool-aide with this article: Understanding Rich Rodriguez's Impact On College Football. I'm interested to see if RR learned anything from his Michigan experience. He tried to force feed his system into talent that didn't fit. You can do that at WVU and places like Arizona. You can't at Michigan. Big Al Borges figured that out during the season last year. It will be interesting to see how Arizona plays this year. Nobody questions RR ability to run and create a spread offense, what people question is his ability (or inability) to have a strong defense and adjust his system to the current talent.

AZ doesn't have a back-stabbing Lloyd Carr-type character to divide and undermine the efforts of RR. He'll do fine. After reading Bacon's book about the whole fiasco, I blame Carr and other "Michigan Men" for most of RRs troubles. Never forget: RR gave Denard his chance. Lloyd wouldn't have. Hoke wouldn't have.
