Yesterday, I mentioned we might start hearing new names that the Michigan coaches are targeting to fill the last two spots. The first one popped up on twitter yesterday in a tweet to Shane Morris.
It's 5 star CB from Tempe, AZ Priest Willis. Priest is a 4 star to Rivals and 5 star to Scout. He is 6'2 190 pounds and probably will become a Safety at the next level. It seems he is interested in taking a visit to Ann Arbor. It's expensive for kids from the West Coast to take un-official visits to Ann Arbor. Once the season begins, Priest could visit Ann Arbor on a official visit which the costs are covered by U of M. This is a new name to keep an eye on as it seems the recruitment of Treadwell and McQuay are starting to move away from Michigan. He has 15 offers from the likes of Florida, FSU, OK, Wash, LSU, ND and many more. Priest also lives in Rich Rod's new backyard.
A name I mentioned yesterday is Westland John Glenn WR Da'Mario Jones. Who is considered an under the radar very good athlete that is a bit raw but with a high ceiling.
Mike W a BHB reader asks about Berkley Edwards if we miss out on Green. Green (power) and Edwards (speed) are two different types of running backs and with Michigan taking Norfleet and Johnson in the 2012 class it's going to be hard to find a spot for Berkley. I could see Berkley getting an offer closer to signing day if Michigan still has an open spot. I think there is always a spot for a guy with great speed. He has 11 current offers mostly MAC schools with the headliners of Cal, Iowa and Minnesota.
BTW: Green wants to make it back to Ann Arbor for the MSU game. So he is nowhere near a quick decision.
