Wolverine Wednesday: BHB Bullets

  • Fitz on his arrest and suspension“I made a bad decision,” Toussaint said. “I let my team down. I wasn’t accountable and I wasn’t trustworthy.”  Fitz watched the game from the home of Michigan assistant basketball coach Bacari Alexander, who had invited the running back over as a sign of support after Michigan football coach Brady Hoke suspended him for the season opener.  Bacari is a good guy.

  • I'm sure you heard about MSU players tweets about how Michigan was playing on Saturday night.  Many tweets were targeted at Denard Robinson and a few tweets crossed the line.  I guess MSU forgot what Alabama did to them a couple years ago in the Capital One Bowl and they didn't exactly light the world on fire against BSU on Friday night.  Mark Dantonio didn't appreciate the tweets either:  "Our guys need to keep their mouths shut," Dantonio added. "That blunt enough? … Especially the ones not even playing."  Mark understands that his players don't need to give Michigan any more motivation for 10/20.

  • Michigan Basketball recruit Austin Hatch who was in that tragic plane crash in Northern Michigan has reclassified for the 2014 class.  He missed most of last year due to the recovery from his injuries.   I hope he still ends up at U of M.

  • Treadwell is expected to be in Ann Arbor this weekend for the Air Force game.  It will be an un-official visit.  I hope he watched the Alabama game and understand how much Michigan needs a high quality wide receiver.

  • Maize and Blue News has a nice run down of all the true freshman that played on Saturday. More than I expected.

  • Michigan is now ranked #19.
