Michigan Tuesday: The Next One

When asked, "Which run is his favorite?"  Denard responded, "The Next One".  Let's hope the next one comes on Saturday.  If there is one monkey on Denard's back, it's being 0-3 against MSU.  Saturday is his last chance to get that win.

 Speaking of the next one..............

There is plenty of speculation on who might fill David Dawson's spot in the 2013 class.   One name that popped up yesterday is Na'Ty Rodgers a 4 star OT from Maryland.  There is also plenty of noise about a guy that is committed to another school and might not want it public yet that he is in discussions with Michigan.

Ethan Polic an LSU commit was very interested in Michigan before the Wolverines filled up on the O-line says he is staying with his LSU commitment and will only visit LSU with his official visit.  So you can scratch his name off the list for now.

Darius Latham a DT from Indy just de-committed from Wisconsin.  He does have a Michigan offer but the Wolverines were looking at him on the Offensive Line.   He is a 4 star prospect and has a number of big offers from around the country.

Other names to watch:  OL Colin McGovern, OL Marcell Lazard, OL Dennis Finley,  OL Scott Quessenberry and OL Mike McGlinchey.

There was also some concern that Derrick Green's recruitment to Ann Arbor might be effected by the de-commitment of his friend David Dawson.  Derrick said no and he seems excited to be visiting this weekend for the MSU game.

Interesting to note:  It seems Vandy has commitments from 7 DB's in the 2013 class and most expect USC to be full due to the NCAA sanctions.   If that's the case,  Leon McQuay has two choices on his final list of FSU and Michigan.
