Michigan has received another 2015 skill position commitment this afternoon in KY RB Damien Harris. Damien is 5'11 and 190 pounds.
Since ESPN and 24/7 are the only two services with 2015 rankings out we go to those services: ESPN ranks Harris as the #20 recruit in the nation and #3 RB. 24/7 has him ranked #91 in the country and the 10th RB. He is ranked 4 stars by both services. I believe he will be a 5 star on at least one of the major sites before it's all said and done.
Update from his coach: He is up to 210 pounds and still running a 4.3!
Harris offer list included the likes of OSU, Florida, UK, ND, South Carolina, Tenn, Fresno State, Illinois, Wake and Syracuse.
The Bottom Line review from ESPN: Harris is an explosive player with natural feet and vision. Has good size and will only get stronger as a downhill runner with time. Big-play skill set that should make him a coveted prospect.
This is another huge get for the Wolverines.
Strange Question of the Day: Is the 2015 class filling up?
Answer: Yes, the estimate for the size of the class is around 13 right now. There are 5 spots filled if you include the 2014 gray shirt of Brady Pallante. I think this is a big reason Damien jumped on board today.
