Michigan Thursday: Tonight Starts The Madness

Iowa stormed out to a big lead over Tennessee last night and then lost in OT.  They couldn't throw it in the ocean from the beach in OT and lost in the First 4 in Dayton.  I think Iowa was the better team but Marble was struggling from the field which kept Tennessee in the game.

Tonight starts Michigan's NCAA tournament with a 7:10 tip against Wofford who was 20-12 on the year.    The game is on CBS and KenPom predicts at 12 point win by the Wolverines.   Wofford is full of athletes with their tallest player at 6'7.    They will try to shoot the Wolverines out of the building with the 3 ball.   Michigan always has that same strategy but tonight they might want to work the low post firm of Morgan and Horford  for some miss-matches and some easy buckets.

This is a type of game, I would like to see Nik score 14 points but have 10 assists.  GR3 should also have some nice lanes to drive the bucket, I wouldn't be surprised if he had over 20 points tonight.   I expect the Wolverines to win by 20 points.
