Michigan has a good class to date which could become a great class with a few more commitments for some top players. As high school football is starting to wind down for many top prospects, they are going to be doing a bunch of visits. Sam Webb at Scouts and WTKA said today he believe the class could add 13 more recruits.
Visitors this weekend include:
- 4 star CB/S Shyheim Carter from LA
- 4 star DT Chris Daniels from TX
- 5 Star and #1 player Rashan Gary - will announce at the UA game. Will come down to Michigan and Auburn probably.
- 5 star RB Kareem Walker - taking some visits and just de-committed from OSU. He wants to enroll early and we could know something in the next few weeks.
- 5 star TE Isaac Nauta from FL/GA (he is at IMG in FL). There are some rumblings that Georgia the presumed leader may make some coaching changes. Which could push the #1 TE to Michigan?
- 4 star DE Carlo Kemp is down to Michigan and ND and is struggling with his decision. His decision was expected soon but might get pushed to next week. I reported incorrectly yesterday, when I called him Caleb Kelly who is LB from California and also very high on the Wolverines but probably heading elsewhere.
- 4 star FL LB Devin Bush, Jr. seems to be down to Michigan and FSU. His dad played for FSU but has a strong connection to Ann Arbor as well.
- 4 star OL Terrance Davis from Maryland. He seems to have been close to a Michigan commitment for about 6 months.
- 4 TX ILB Dontavious Jackson has Michigan in his top 8.
- 3 star FL Slot WR "Pie" Young who recently said, Michigan was leading his recruitment.
- Believe or it there is a kicker on the board and it's the top one in the nation and it's a local kid in Quinn Nordin.
- Instate Detroit King guys WR Donnie Corley and CB LaVert Hill attend a lot of Michigan games.
One question you might have is: If Michigan has 21 commits how can they take 13 more?
I expect a few de-commits and maybe some gray shirts (meaning they enroll in January 2017 or pay their own way the first semester). Both Kingston Davis and David Reese are taking official visits to Nebraska this weekend. I also expect a few guys to enroll early, which could count towards the 2015 class.
- Fred Jackson is going to be the head coach at Ypsilanti. I can't wait to hear how each player has the speed of Denard Robinson and the size of Jumbo Elliot.

Walker will be a Wolverine I believe, lets just hope the NJ contingent is strong enough to pull Gary in as well.
If we land both of those guys we'll have the top recruiting class. Imagine a recruiting class in the top 5, and then those players getting developed? Good times, getting better!
GO BLUE.
Scott...you hit on head with "getting those players developed".
How exciting is it that we have a staff that develops players, and makes half-time adjustments and wears a headset.
The MSU loss still hurts, but brighter days are ahead for Michigan football!
