Michigan Monday: Chirstmas Camp is over and Florida Camp Begins!

Jimmy has been calling practice before the Orange Bowl as Christmas Camp.  Well, Christmas Camp is over as the Wolverines traveled to South Florida on Sunday and will start practice in Florida today.   Some of the buzz on the young players include: Ron Johnson Mike Dwumfour, Lawrence Marshall, Long, Hill, and Hudson on defense.  On offense, Onwenu looks like a starter at right guard and Crawford and Nate Johnson are playing well at WR.

I know it's old news and was expected but Drew Singleton committed to Michigan before the holiday.   We covered Drew the day of his announcement but the best story I have read about Drew, is that he tore his ACL in September and was training so hard and healing so fast that he almost played in his State Championship game.    Remember when ACL tears used to keep guys out a full calendar year?  Drew almost came back in the same season.

  • A name from last years class that we were expecting might make it to Ann Arbor in January, is not going to happen.  Michigan Blog Touch the Banner is reporting that Linebacker Dytarious Johnson signed with Eastern Illinois last week.   Hopefully he has the upside Tony Romo did at EIU.  Good luck to Dytarious!

When ordering custom jerseys be careful!
