Michigan Friday: No Game Preview Today

As we all know, Michigan is on a bye weekend or what Jimmy likes to call an improvement week.   Which means no game for the Wolverines as they prepare to meet the Spartans at night at the Big House next Saturday.   Speaking of night games, the Freep had a great Bo quote about start times:  “We used to tell the TV stations that we’re going to tee the ball up at one o’clock. If you want to come down and take your little pictures, feel free.”

Love it Bo!  If your wondering what Jimmy thinks, here is his quote from Monday's Press Conference:

“Yeah, I prefer they’re kicked off at 12 o’clock, 1 o’clock on a Saturday afternoon.”

Why is that?
“It most appeals to my football sensibility. Just a personal thought there. Definitely not Fridays, not Thursday, not Wednesdays, not Tuesday or Mondays or Sundays in college football. Saturday, prefer the 1 o’clock kickoff but understand that there’s 3:30 kickoffs, there’s 4 o’clock kickoffs, there’s 7:30 kickoffs, et cetera. We’ll get ourselves prepared.”

  • Jay Harbaugh was out to see the game of 2019 5-star RB Quavaris Crouch last night.

  • German and Gemon Green the twins that are committed to Michigan will take their official visit for the MSU game next weekend.

  • Urban Meyer came out against coaches lying to the NCAA and said they should not be allowed to ever coach again in college football.  Funny, he said that, since he got his current job at OSU because the coach lied to the NCAA.

My two cents worth... I hope they took advantage of their time, to train O'Korn, and not take the week too easy like Lloyd Carr used too! (I think).

I should stick to my Day -job (if I had one), because some predictions are off by a mile. I thought Michigan State would be easy Pickens, and I was wrong... the line should be -3 tp -7 for Michigan.

Michigan will have to earn this victory against Michigan State, the situation is in doubt, but a solid effort should give them the hard earned win.

LSU is crying in their beer, a "nothing burger, Hoke "type of a head coach lost to Troy, was Troy's quarterback "Helen of Troy"? Why replace Les Miles with a POS??

Anyways, they do not want their head coach any more, but the buy-out is 12.5 million... why do this with a no-name...seems to me to be the Charlie Weiss syndrome, an infectious disease that sucks millions out of a college coffers! North Carolina has sunk to new lows.
