Well folks, the sun did rise this morning and John Beilein's team is 7-0 and just ran the North Carolina Tar heels out of Crisler!
I have watched all of Michigan's basketball games this season and the Wolverines are not playing well, they are playing great. They have wins over Villanova, George Washington, Providence, and NC by an average of 21 points. That's on the offenses side of the ball. Let's talk some defense!
North Carolina is the highest scoring team in the country, averaging just under 100 points per game (94). Michigan held them to 67 and no opponent has scored 70 points or more this year.
What's scary, this team has a lot to approve on. Their free throw shooting is terrible and Michigan probably missed 5-6 lays ups/bunnies last night. The Wolverines shot 50% from 3 but many of those missed shots were good looks that normally go in. Jordan Poole has been hot and cold all year, he started very slow last night but shot his way to 18 points in the second half. To quote a famous Tar Heel that has his symbol on the Wolverines jerseys, The Ceiling is the Roof! for this team. :)
- 2020 QB Harrison Bailey will announce his college decision today at 2:45.
- Jeff Brohm decided to stay at Purdue which pretty much seals the deal that George Karlafitis will stay committed to the Boilermakers.
- Modern Family last night had a football reference to "Chicken being a nervous bird".

Careful of what you say about the bball team. Remember what happened to the fball team when everyone started raving on them. They started believing their press clippings and got clipped.
Coach Beiline will not let that happen. What I love about coach Beiline is he keeps his players level headed and is not afraid to bench players to send a message.
Another thing I love about coach Beiline is, his ability to realize that he needs to bring in changes before it gets bad. Coach Harbaugh needs this trait. It annoyed me to see Kliff Kingsbury get hired by USC. Why couldn't coach Harbaugh jump on this opportunity? He makes changes when things are real bad ie. Tim Dreveno. That change should have happened in 2016. I hope coach Harbaugh does not stick with coach Hamilton. Get coach Jedd back in AA and let's start to utilize the WR's we have. Our WR's are NFL level talented.

I hope that moron gets fired that moron is Harbaugh.... we have enough resources enough players to bring in the coach who will win eight nine games a year easily and get paid less money that moron the old dinosaur the gizzard the moron idiot did not hire Kliff Kingsbury
This shows that his stubbornness and also his lack of creativity is a moron never will win a playoff game
So you want to hire a guy that will win eight or nine games a year when you got a guy right now that's won 10 games with one more game to go. Is that what you're saying. And remember a coach that's winning eight or nine games a year will not get into the playoffs either.
I may have criticized coach Harbaugh but let me be clear. I DO NOT WANT HIM GONE! He has done a good job building the program back up. We have good kids coming to play at university of Michigan. Coach Harbaugh is running a clean program and kids are getting a great education and are getting a chance to play at the next level. Coach Harbaugh is building a pipe line to the NFL. Yea it would have been awesome to get Kliff but we didn't and it's not the end of the world. I support coach Harbaugh 100%! Go Blue!
