Michigan Thursday: Mr. Washington Stays In A2

Saddi Washington has taken his name out of consideration for Western's head coach opening.  He will return to Michigan and Juwan's staff.  Saddi played at Western and even beat the Wolverines under Brian Ellerbe (which might of been the worst hire in Michigan coaching history).

Saddi is known has a great recruiter and this is a win for Michigan's staff.  It's not known if the Western job was offered to him.

  • Snake Oil Alert!  Roy Roundtree has landed a paying gig as the WR coach at Grand Valley.  Congrats!  Roy has been on Michigan's staff for a few years.

  • Juwan Howard is looking at Columbia PG Mike Smith who averaged over 22 points per game.  Mike would be a grad transfer.  I'm guessing there is going to be more transfers off Michigan's roster then expected.

  • 4 star DT Victory Vaka (name checks out) really likes Shaun Nua, VV isn't making his decision known until December though., so we have a lot of time.   Michigan is in his top 5.
