Big Ten Preview Week 3

There are few interesting Big Ten games this weekend.  Alabama at Wisconsin is an interesting one but I expect Alabama's talent will win that one.  Next are 2 rivalry games from the PAC 12: Washington vs. Washington State and Oregon vs. Oregon State.

Alabama (-16) @ Wisconsin:  Similar to last week Big Ten vs. SEC match-up, the Big Ten team is out matched.  Bama did struggle for a lot of the game on Saturday, this might be a slug vest where Bama wins comfortably at the end.  Wisconsin 14 Bama 30

Central Michigan @ Illinois (-18):  The Chips took a tough loss to the fighting PitBull's (that sounds very violent) last weekend in Miami.   At least they were at the beach.  Now they head to Champaign, Illinois.   CMU 12 Illinois 24

Oregon (-16) @ Oregon State:  Be careful here Ducks.   They haven't played to expectation and now they travel to an instate rival and just left cupboard bare of the PAC 12.    Oregon 40 OSU 31

Notre Dame (-10) @ Purdue:  I wonder how mad ND is right now?  Was anyone surprised that former MSU QB wasn't still on Northern Illinois for his 10th year?  ND will have a bit of a hangover and nobody knows what Purdue has.  Another be careful game:  ND 21 Purdue 20

Prairie View @ MSU (NL):  When your university has the term view in it, you can't have a good football team.   MSU 41 PV 6

Nevada @ Minnesota (-17): Nevada has played 3 games but are 1-2.  Minn 34 Nevada 13

Washington State @ Washington (-4.5): What I wrote for Oregon vs. OSU can be inserted here with less points.  Be very careful UW.   Washington 17 WSU 14

Troy @ Iowa (21.5):  Iowa did the thing they always do last weekend:  Iowa 34 Troy 10

Northern Iowa @ Nebraska (NL): This is the BTN night game. Northern Iowa can play but not against the upstart Cornhuskers.   Nebraska 31 NIU 13

Indiana (-3) @ UCLA: This is the NBC Night Game and IU is favored on the road.  UCLA 17 IU 14

East Illinois @ Northwestern (NL): Stop playing this game at night, we want to see the LAKE! NW 34 EIU 3

Maryland (-2.5) @ Virginia:  Not sure Maryland should be favored.  Could be a sneaky good game.  UVA 21 Maryland 17

3 games of interest: ND/Purdue, a rivalry game that hasn't been played in a while. ND showed their ass last week, and Purdue players have a chip as think they should be wearing the golden helmet.

Oregon/Oregon St: another rivalry game that's in Corvalis. We're about to find out if the Ducks are real or real frauds.

Indiana/UCLA: Cignetti is a red ass, and is going to have the Hoosiers playing hard all season. UCLA stinks but the game is on the left coast and it'll be interesting to see how well Indiana travels.

Huckleby, Russel Davis, and Rick (the Peach Leach) ....you shook my memory tree Like a Tornado. Only thing you did not mention that Ufer played Patton's jeep horn every time we scored a touch-down. I was a stalker of sorts (just kidding!) .... stayed in my seat halfway up in the endzone, would use my binoculars to check out the knockout Blonde cheerleader Michigan had. Sigh! Now she is a grandma in her middle 60's! Time fly's when your having fun. Had forgotten about Big 2 little 8 (which was true (mostly). I better not say too much because our representative from Dubai will get irratated.
