When the season started, we all had one game circled on the schedule. Clearly, the biggest game of the year. Indiana @ Ohio State for a shot at the Big Ten Title Game. With the Big Ten giving The Ducks a free pass to Indy, now the only drama is the traditional rivalry game of IU vs. OSU.
Friday Night Match-Up:
Purdue @ MSU (-13.5): The rare Friday, DO NOT WATCH THIS GAME alert. I guess that no late November night games rule is over. MSU 17 Purdue 10.
Saturday:
Indiana @ OSU (-13.5): Michigan's 2nd half gave Ohio State a blue print on how to beat the Hoosiers. Vegas is not buying IU as they are a 2 TD dog to the Buckeyes. IU can win this game if they play the perfect game and don't turn the ball over. This is one of those close first half games and then a blowout after. OSU 38 IU 17
Illinois (-1) @ Rutgers: Somehow Illinois is still ranked. Is there a difference between these 2 teams? One is 6-4 and the other 7-3. Illinois 23 Rutgers 20
Iowa (-6.5) @ Maryland: Does anyone know who is playing QB for Iowa? They found one to replace Cade and then that kid gets hurt and is out for the year. I expect Cade will play even though Iowa doesn't want him to. Iowa 14 Maryland 9
Penn State (-11.5) @ Minnesota: How many of these games are Penn State going to play? They are going to slip into the playoff by playing nobody and getting embarrassed by Ohio State. They should play ND in a play-in game to the playoffs. PSU 38 Minn 28
Wisconsin @ Nebraska (-2.5): Will the Bowl wins curse continue for Nebraska? Wisconsin fired their OC after playing Oregon tough at home. Wisconsin is playing better then Nebraska right now. At some point Nebraska will win a 6th game. Wisconsin 24 Nebraska 21
USC (-4.5) @ UCLA: This is a huge rivalry game and nobody cares. Both teams have a combined 9 wins and neither have had a good first year experience in the Big Ten. USC is the better team but UCLA plays pretty well at home. UCLA 28 USC 23
- Michigan lost another committed recruit with DL Jaylen Williams heading to Wisconsin. He was committed to Michigan since this summer. Win some - Lose some.
- CMU coach Jim McElwain is retiring, clearly a side step from getting fired and the NCAA investigation into Connor Stalions on his sideline.
- ESPN is ending the show "Around the Horn" next summer.
- Sounds like tickets are available and low for the Northwestern game on the resale ticket services.
- PFF ranks Mason Graham as DT 1 and Ken Grant as DT 2 in the NFL Draft. Thanks Wink!

When you're having an ass season, and recruits don't believe in your staff, losing recruits is what happens!
The Jim McElwain thing makes me wonder if there's some bite in the NCAA's NoA?
Anyone else find it curious that Michigan hasn't answered the NoA yet? They have till Saturday to respond if I did my math right. The school has 90 to reply in writing. You'd think if its a nothing burger and the NCAA is just blowing smoke, then Michigan would of answered the allegations by now and not wait till the 11th hour???????? Maybe there's some of that lawyer sht that I just don't understand?
Some of you thought hoping we lose to Northwestern would speed up the process of getting a new coach. I am thinking that this could delay the departure of "Sherrone and friends" .... 7-5 next year would look like a great improvement over 5-7 this year (catch my drift?) besides hurt recruiting... by the way love all the posts by Chowman & Brady 2017 .... different perspective (food for thought) .....my sources tell me Michigan man lives in Mom's basement. And Dubai is the first floor, he comes upstairs in the winter.
LMFAO........good one Scotty. I'm literally crying I'm laughing so hard!
and 7-5 could be a stretch. we're losing 5 or 6 top tier players to the NFL and I don't see back fill for all those losses. Couple that with the QB, WR, OL issues, next year could be brutal! I have ZERO faith Sherrone can go into the portal and fix anything!
Guys ever year is not going be golden...some years we will be bad due to graduates, NFL, or just transferring. There are years we will be good...this is the normal cycle for college football....if didn't know that now you know....
Blue for life
National Champions don't fall off so precipitously. This season has been a historic collapse
That is funny, got to admit that... Would that make his mom Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum...
Worst case scenario they cut a couple scholarships and a 1 yr bowl ban. If they want blood from the current coaching staff, have it it I say. I'd crack open a beer if that happens.
Ouch. That was like a kick to the crotch. Poor Michiganman. Lol
Should not have any fall offs for a program like Michigan, the winningest program of all time.
Chowman- Sherrone going into the portal isn't as difficult as it sounds. Michigan has created a new staff position, call it a General Manager, that oversees talent and assembles a list who's available via the portal. The skids are already greased for Sherrone (and probably some palms as well $$). But if anyone can F it up, Sherrone can.
Side note- I heard Miller Moss has a contingency offer in place w UM.
Hang in there, MichiganMan. We enjoy your unique perspective.
Happy retirement to The Shark Hunter. I still think that was him.
ScottyDoggs- "Sherrone and Friends". Lol Sounds like an after-school special. Lol
My phone is blowing up. Is this true? UNDERWOOD HAS OFFICIALLY FLIPPED TO MICHIGAN
Sounds like it but until the LoI is sent nothing is for sure. Doesn't guarantee anything. Lots of 5 star QB busts. Perfect world you bring in a experienced QB and let him redshirt and acclimate to college football. UCLA rushed Dante Moore on the field and most likely stunted his development
Holy fuckin shit. Well, if this holds up, I'm gonna have to change my stance w Sherrone. Anyone who is able to get a Ferrari should get the chance to drive it. Underwood is a generational talent.
I just saw Dave Portnoy's video. Lmao He's wearing a crown and a septor and laughing at anyone who ever doubted Michigan. Hey, props to Dave. He LITTERALLY put his money where his mouth is.
