I must have been asleep at the wheel last night becuase I missed two decent size stories until I woke up this morning.
1. Bruce Arians is moving to the front office and turning over the keys to a very good team to Todd Bowles.
2. Jimmy names Colin Kapernick the honorary captain of the Spring Game.
Lets discuss Bruce Arians first. He has always been a unique guy and if I had to read the tea leaves, he wanted to give Todd Bowles a great team, instead of a bad one after Brady is gone and the roster is gutted for a rebuild. How does this effect Michigan fans, other then Tom Brady? Well, I expect Larry Foote will be named Defensive Coordinator and probably one of the reasons he wasn't instrested in coming back to Ann Arbor. It's also intresting they picked Bowles over Leftwhich who is the team's OC and was reportabdly a finalist for the Jacksonville head coaching job, but had issues with the current GM (who also had issues with Harbaugh).
I don't have a problem with Jimmy naming Colin Kapernick the honorary captain on Saturday. His story can be a great lesson to all of the players and Jimmy has a long history with Kap. Loyality between player and coach is always talked about, but its great to see real proof of it.
- BTN will cover the Spring Game at Noon. One of our favorites Jake Butt will be on the call. I hope this is the first step on him getting a role as a regular anaylst on BTN.
- Jett Howard was named to the Iverson All Star Round Ball Classic.

Couldn’t disagree more in regards to Colin kapernick. If you want to limit this decision to football ok he had a moment in the spotlight. However Colin kapernick made his story about everything except football. He is a self proclaiming communist and in my opinion a racist. Not only does he not deserve to be elevated in anyway his opinions are inflammatory. Claiming” the United States must be torn down” ( his words). The university of Michigan & every other university deserves better than an America hating bigot. Just my thoughts.

Intelligent people will listen to what Kaepernick has to say. I'd love to be able to talk with him. Doesn't mean I'd agree with him, but I'd like to know how his life has changed since he made his stance. Not everything is cut and dry, black or white, right or wrong. Kaepernick is a human being, not an ax murderer. Relax people! GO BLUE!!

For 60 years I've TREASURED Michigan Football. If someone had told me I would be indifferent to watching the 2022 Spring Game, I would have said it wasn't possible. Of all the great former UM players that could have been given this honor, it goes to Kaepernick. What a role model for our young people. Absolutely unbelievable.

What's funny is I guess you can post that he's a punk, but if you comment about how disingenuous his stances are and why, you get deleted. Chowman, CK's views are disingenuous. Here's a "man" who spends a lot of time comparing the NFL to modern slavery and then spends his time attempting to get the NFL to sign him! After a few comments, I also noticed how another prominent Michigan fansite shut down any dissenting opinions.
