Brad Hawkins didn't get drafted but signed a free agent contract with Atlanta. He then quickly got cut as the Falcons were juggling their roster during the off season. Brad worked out with the Patriots on Monday and has found a new home. It will be his job now to prove he deserves to be on the roster or the practice squad after camp.
As mentioned yesterday, Michigan landed its first commitment from the BBQ in OT Evan Link. Evan is a big man at 6'6 and 290 pounds and had a very nice offer list that included the likes of PSU, Stanford, BC, Miami, FSU, Northwestern, Tenn, South Carolina, Virgina, VT, Wisconsin and others. This is a much-needed position in Michigan's recruiting class as Evan is the first tackle and second offensive lineman with Amir Herring. Michigan now has the 28th ranked class in the country (24/7).
- There are reports that the Big 12 is trying to get Minnesota to jump ship from the Big 10. This is how that conversation went:
- A sign that there are too many people in the transfer portal, Former Kentucky QB Beau Allen has signed with Tarleton State.
- 2024 five-star ATH KJ Bolden was "blown away" by the family atmosphere at Michigan during his BBQ visit.

Good for Hawkins, hopefully he isn't a late camp cut. I bagged on Hawkins as early in his career he was slow to diagnose plays and took horrible angles toward the ball carrier, but by the time his time was up in AA he was a solid, if unspectacular S!
Tarleton State? WhereTF are they?
