Big Ten Preview Week 6

The Big Ten West is going to be interesting from here on out.  When I say interesting, I really mean bad.  Two coaches have been fired, Minnesota rowed the boat to a disappointing loss last week and Illinois seems to be trending up.  Whoever wins this division is going to get boat raced in Indy again.

Friday Night Lights: Nebraska (-3) @ Rutgers: Should Nebraska be favored in this one?  Rutgers 21 Nebraska 17

Purdue @ Maryland (-3): The Terps are 4-1 with the only loss to #4 Michigan in the Big House.   Purdue is weird.  Maryland 31 Purdue 21

Wisconsin (-10) @ Northwestern: What can fix a turbulent week for Badger Football?  A win over lowly Northwestern that needs to consider hitting its own reset button.  Wisconsin 24 Northwestern 10

#3 OSU (-27) @ MSU: MSU is out manned on both sides of the ball in this one.   OSU 44 MSU 10

Iowa @ Illinois (-3.5): Hard to call, Iowa has a very good defense and an offense from 1972.  Illinois is trending up.  Illinois 17 Iowa 7

  • Draymond Green punched Jordan Poole on Wednesday during a practice session.  Jordan should feel lucky Draymond didn't kick him in the nuts.

I emphasize completely with Tom Brady, as I was once married to a super-model (yes me, lucky me) ..... but to be more honest she was a super-sized model (weighing over 3 bucks) ..... last time I seen her when she thought it would be sexy to face sit me .... well, I ran for my life (had no clothes on my back) .... but still alive to tell the tale!

Vary Funny Bob...I wonder why AD didn't kick him below the belt...With West being down so much it doesn't feel like a strong conference at all.

Blue for life
Don Brown to OSU!!

Anyone else notice the media (sports talk radio) has completely shied away from talking about the dumpster fire in E. Lansing? If this were Michigan they'd be calling for Harbaugh's head, starting player controversies (who should start, who will transfer), and constantly ridiculing the program for being a joke. But not a peep! Gotta love the biased Sharty media. Go Blue!

UM-48, Indiana- 3 How do we move up in the polls, btw? There is no way Clemson is better than Michigan. Didn't we beat O$U for the Big10 Championship last year? Wouldn't that make us the defending Champ? So why should the Browneyes be automatically ranked ahead of us when we beat them (handily) last year?

The sooner the new expanded playoffs get here the better. I got a funny feeling someone is going to get jobbed this year by the committee.

Not in favor of playoff expansion. The best team has won it the past several years with the current format. Any further expansion turns it into a tournament. The basketball March Madness tournament, while fun to watch, is ridiculous at 64 teams. It's a tournament, not a playoff...

We'll just have to beat the bugeyes again this year to show the world last season's beatdown was not a fluke. I'd like nothing better that to destroy the bugeyes right there in their own turf. Go Blue!
