Michigan Stadium described by the legndary Bob Ufer: "The hole that Yost dug, Crisler paid for, Canham carpeted, and Schembechler fills every cotton pickin' Saturday afternoon."
This seriously has me concerned I know Jim is loyal and Greg was his OC in San Fran. Turning over the reigns to Greg would have a devastating effect on the program and ensure that we won't ever get another 5 star QB under Jim's tenure.
I would imagine that this offensive "system" that Harbaugh is running is something that he would like to have some continuity with and therefore would either look to bring in someone who is doing the same thing or he would promote from within. The logical choices? Sherrone Moore, Mike Hart, or a Staff Analyst.
It would seem to me that if he looks outside first then that would tell me that Sherrone was not the primary play caller. Nevertheless, I would imagine that Sherrone (and Hart) would still know enough about the system to keep it basically intact. If I were Harbaugh, I would talk to them first before bring someone from the outside in. Harbaugh is likely very involved in the play calling anyway (see the blown Philly - Philly call on the Fiesta bowl one yard like).
Sherrone has a lot on his plate and maybe he doesn't want additional duties. Maybe, Hart can be promoted to Co-coordinator (something to consider). To me, if you think that your current staff can handle it then you keep it inhouse. IMHO!!!
P.S, - I know they will need someone to coach the QB's. Harbaugh "might" coach it but not likely as the primary. Can a new QB coach run the offense, of course but it doesn't have to be. There's a lot of moving pieces to this thing obviously. IMHO!!!

I will repeat what I posted earlier. A Greg Roman hire will be derail Michigan's offense and bring nothing to the table recruiting-wise or other.
I read that the Raven’s offense (?) regressed the last few years underneath his direction.

Bring back Brian greise!!!
I live the idea of bringing back Griese! Qb coach of the rookie sensation Purdy! That's our guy!!!
Perhaps Tom Brady will be looking for a new job - Agree with Griese!
