We saw the list of AP All Americans earlier this week and now Sporting News has announced its list and has included a Michigan legend Mike Sainristil on the 1st team. What a great honor for Mikey as he prepares to face Alabama. Mason Graham also shows up on the 2nd team. Yes, they left off some Wolverines, but happy for Mason and Mike.
Sporting News All Americans:
1st Team: Mike Sainristil and Zak Zinter
2nd Team: Mason Graham
PFF All Big Ten Team: Offense
QB: JJ
Center: Drake Nugent
WR: Roman Wilson
RG: Zak Zinter
- Josh wants your vote for the Pro Bowl. What is left off the list, head coach?

I don't blame the Fla A.G. for rattling the CFP's cage. They got totally hosed. In my opinion, having one loss is the biggest factor for deciding who should be out of the playoffs. Alabama lost, sorry, you're out. There was nothing fair or arbitrary about FSU being left out. Think of the recruiting bennies and income stream from that. A lot of coaches (Jimmy) have clauses for incentive bonus from making the playoffs and winning a Natty. Highway robbery, folks.
Too bad we can't get a 350 lbs. transfer portal guard or tackle to play immediately and fill in for Zac Zinter. Lol
Anyone know yet if we will be the home team against Alabama? I'm thinking since we are higher ranked we will be. Interesting what uniform combination we will wear.
As much as I think that FSU got "hosed," I don't believe the Florida AG should be involved. It sets a bad precedent for the future. A "disgruntled" AG or some ambulance chaser will file suit if they think their team got hosed.
yeah, we are going with the traditional home uniforms.
Cormac- "Ambulance chaser" Lol
Yes, attorneys can be the worst. Could be a slippery slope indeed.
They should have a live stream event of the CFP in their war room, debating and deciding which teams make the playoffs. Put it all out there in the open. I'd watch. Have it sponsored by Mr. Clean and Tide laundry detergent so viewers know there's nothing dirty going on.
