Michigan hosted another special recruiting weekend the past few days. That recruiting effort paid off in a couple of 2025 class commits and what seemed like non-stop 👀 from Sherrone.
The first to commit is IMG 4-star RB Donovan Johnson (Miami Vice nickname Don Johnson?). Donovan was a top rated player in the class early on as a track start and prior to transferring to IMG. Then he hurt his knee. Michigan didn't have any reservations taking the talented RB who is from GA and not South Florida where his new nickname would be a lock. Don had a ton of offers from Alabama, Georgia, FSU Oklahoma, Texas A&M and many more. Welcome Donovan we always prefer to have a fast Donovan in the Michigan backfield!
Next commit is MSU legacy IMG Center Kayden Strayhorn. If your not familiar with the Strayhorn's, his father Jason was a former Sparty captain and also participates on MSU Radio Football games. I would guess many of you like myself don't listen to MSU Football games on the radio. Kaden is a 3-star prospect to 24/7 and On3, 4-star to Rivals and ESPN. Grant Newsome and Sherrone have been recruiting Kayden since he was in 8th grade. His 26 school offer list includes the likes of: Alabama, Auburn, Arizona, Florida, LSU, Miami, MSU, Ohio State, USC, and many more. Welcome to Center U!

What is a "P.J."?
I heard positive news about the pending NCAA investigation on spygate. This should be released in the next 2 weeks. The allegations are not as serious as the media made it out to be, and no future penalties.
Good having Coach B back. Let's hope we see Jimmy at a few practices, too, although his schedule is not as accommodating.
