Every August we want any information about college football that we can inject right into our veins. The AP poll has the difficult job of predicting how good college teams are before they take the field. The best and only way to do it, is to estimate what a team looked liked last season after weighing the players that left for NFL or the portal. It's a bit of a fool's errand, but one we love.
Michigan comes in at #9 in this version with Georgia #1. Other interested parties include: OSU at #2, Oregon #3, Texas #4, Penn State #8, with USC and Iowa at the backend #23 and #25 respectivilly.
So what does it mean for Michigan fans? Well, we won't have to hear how easy our schedule is this season with OSU, Oregon, and Texas on it. That is for sure.
- Michigan got another big 2025 commit over the weekend in 4-star CB from Texas Jayden Sanders. LaMar Morgan has shown to be a great recruiter in a very short window. Sanders picked Michigan over Ok State, Texas, Baylor and TCU. Jayden is 6'1 and runs a 4.4 in the 40.
- JJ had a nice performance this weekend after throwing an early pick. He threw the ball well down the field for 2 TD's but sat out Monday's practice with sore knees.
- Speaking of QB battles, It seems it's still ongoing in Michigan's camp with the rumor mill saying the leaders are Orji and Warren.
- Iowa had some charity scrimmage that Cade performed poorly in over the weekend. Reports are he was 8-24, for 20 yards, with a pick 6. Not a good sign for an offensive turnaround in corn country.
- Harbaugh will back for the Opener against Fresno State as the honorary captain. NCAA had no comment.
- Michigan's new equipment truck is pretty cool.
Sorry for the late posts. I'm in jury duty this week and will try to get out content when I can!

Oh no he won't! Just heard that he doesn't want to leave the Chargers and won't be at the season opener. Probably for the best. Let all the spy gate stuff go away. It's obvious, right or wrong, the NCAA had a hard on for Harbaugh and its time for everybody to just turn the page and move forward.
Is it me, or does a name sometimes make a player sound good? Jayden Sanders just sounds like a a sweet defensive back. Opposed to a name like Jim Budzinski or something. Lol
Chowman- I heard Jimmy accepted the invite. Idk, it's Fresno St, so it's prob the best game of the year to honor him without it being a distraction. GameDay will be in town for Texas, USC, Washington, and a few others, so there's really no other time to do it. And he deserves it. Natties aren't easy.
Sheronne came out and said Jim won't be there. That he wants to stay in the fox hole with his chargers team or something like that. I just think it would be best for the program in the short term for Jim to go away and stay away. The guy had no problems bailing to the NFL and taking any of the staff he wanted. So as far as I'm concerned UofM and the football program owe him nothing.
Brady, the last time there was any DB with a Ski name, it was when they lined up for Hamtramck HS in the 60s......lol And its cool, it my heritage, my mom graduated from H-town HS. I'm full blooded Polske!
I'm sure there's more to the story of JH backing out of the honorary gig. My guess is that he realizes his presence might bring a distraction to the team celebrating their national title. Very sad for JJ today. Wanted to see him become the next GOAT and continue to shove it down cockeye hater throats. Last, there's something about a walk on QB competing for the starting gig that does not give me confidence. This is michigan dammit!
