Wolverine Wednesday: Welcomes You To the Marsh

The season is literally around the corner.  College Football starts in 3 days and Michigan just landed a big playmaker in the 2025 class in 4-star WR Andrew Marsh who committed to the Maize and Blue last night after a late run by program friend Jedd Fisch at Washington.  Good Shit Jedd!

Andrew is 6'1 and 180 pounds from Katy, Texas.  He picked the Wolverines over UW, Texas, USC, and Coach Prime at Colorado.  To 24/7, Marsh is the 63rd best player in the nation and 9th WR.

This is a huge win for Sherrone going into the season.  With the hard sell by Jedd and others at his decision date, Michigan will still have to recruit him until he signs in early December.

  • Pete Carroll will be teaching a class this school year at USC
  • Michigan now has the 12th ranked class in the country to 24/7
  • Is Jordan Marshall going to crack the RB depth chart?  Plenty of buzz out of camp right now on Jordan.

yeah yeah yeah, I'm Donnie Downer. Here's my angst with any WR recruit until he signs his LoI. What if the Michigan QBs come out this season and collectively lay a turd? What if Orji can't throw a forward pass or at least can't hit the side of the stadium? What if Davis Warren shows why he was a walk on? Is an elite WR recruit going to want to come to Michigan if there's no clear choice at QB? No guarantees in todays college football until that recruit straps on the winged helmet and steps on the field for that first game!

I watched this kids highlight real, it's insane. Marsch was surrounded by 3-4 players and escaped for a TD. Several plays like this.
