Wolverine Wednesday: Pre-Game Show Locations

Expect everyone and their brother in A2 this Saturday.  I'm sure all the celebrities will be "All Right, All Right, All Right".

If your into the two big pregame shows by ESPN and Fox here are the locations:  ESPN GameDay at Ferry Field and Fox will be at Pioneer's Parking Lot.  I love that both Urban Meyer and Nick Saban will be at the Big House and neither will be game planning to beat the Wolverines. Also very weird.

Since we are talking about the media and pregame shows.  Let's recap what we are hearing about the Michigan - Texas game from both networks:
  • Michigan offensive line is struggling
  • Michigan run game is yet to get on track
  • Michigan has a QB problem
  • Texas will win comfortably

We will talk about later this week on how Michigan can actually win this game.

  • Rivalry Game?  Ohio State is hosting Western Michigan this Saturday.
  • Central Michigan will be opening the newly named PittBull Stadium this Weekend !
  • Coach Prime vs. Coach Rhule on Saturday as well.
  • How many commercials is Coach Saban in now?
  • Clemson is hosting App State on Saturday night.  Look out Dabo!  Fire the AD that scheduled that game now
  • Big Ten after dark: Boise State @Oregon at 10:00 EST on Saturday.  Sneaky Good Game!

Clever the small print Western Michigan .... the only way we win vs. Texas is put LSD in Texas Gatorade and watch them look for "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" Talk all you want, but defeat is just days away. I am a realist, not a dreamer .... could happen, but less than 10% chance. I am not hedging my bet, just not going to happen, unless Texas shows up at "Western Michigan" and forfeits the game by mistake.

Guys, I am very scared about this game.... Our quarterback doesn't improve. We're in big trouble. I have us going 8 and 4 or 9 and 3 at best.

Also, I am filing a missing person report for Brady2017, incase Aliens (or Michigan man has Brady tied up in his Mom's basement).
Free Willy the whale, and Brady too!

There's an adage in football that the biggest improvement in play for a QB is from game 1 to game 2. That being said, Warren will have to have a huge improvement. Needs to get thru his progressions and not lock on receivers. Mullins needs to be the bell cow and allow Edwards to do what he does best: change of pace. Heard someone suggest having both in the back field and then on some plays allow Edwards to line up in the slot. He's needs space, he's not a telephone booth RB.

Here's the deal. I played division 3 football for 2 years at a military academy in Kings Point, N.Y. I got a tryout for the Cleveland Browns special teams as a gunner, and was offered a statistician job a day later. Prob their intent all along. I turned them down because I'm not a numbers guy. I went on to be an assistant coach in h.s. for 12 years. There is nobody that knows more about football than me, including Bob. So when snot nose kids that haven't grown any pubes yet start talking smack to me, I politely withdraw. I find the internet is composed of mainly idiots. That aint me. Got a life and a job. Y'all have fun!

Chow, think you’re right that QB improvement can happen. But I’ll be happy if we see a good O-Line setting up our run.

Brady, I’m not a kid (54), and I didn’t talk smack. I pointed out that you made a pretty ironic post. I think you’re sensitive reply and your need to be the smartest guy posting isn’t much fun. And since you don’t know anyone of us, it’s a bit silly to say you’re the smartest football mind. Also a bit weird too.

Win or lose saturday, it'll be a great measuring stick for where the program is and what they need to do to stay elite. Saban spoiled us. He made us think that you can have elite teams year after year and that's just not reality. Saban also is a man of little character as evidenced by his calling out of Jimbo for buying players when in fact, he did the same thing at LSU and Bama. When the playing field leveled out with NIL (for better or worse) Saban quit. His competitive advantage was gone. It's going to be a great atmosphere Saturday and make no mistake, the haters are lined up just waiting for UM to fail. They'll have their moment to gloat and try to disparage the recent success. The haters only win when you hate them back.
