Thursday Big Ten Big Game Previews

I will preview the Michigan - Illinois game on Friday but every Thursday I will give you a quick preview of the Top Big Ten Games of the week.

3:30 on Saturday: MSU at OSU: Can MSU find the same magic they had in 1998 when they upset the #1 ranked Buckeyes? One thing I know for sure is Mark Dantonio played The Sweater Vest very tough at Cincinnati. Does he know the secrets of the vest? Can he take the Spartans to the promise land? Is the #1 ranked team in the nation jinxed? The answer is maybe but not on Saturday. MSU might play OSU close for a quarter or so, but the Buckeye Defense will be the difference. Final Score: MSU 13 OSU 27.

Noon: Iowa at Purdue: Both of these teams are trying to find themselves. Iowa comes off a big home win against Illinois and Purdue comes off a terrible blow out loss at the Big House. Iowa had lost 8 Big Ten games before beating Illinois and Purdue was ranked just two weeks ago. Purdue finds in offense in this one and beats Iowa with out too much trouble. (look for a couple of onside kicks after the game is out of reach) Final Score: Iowa: 7 Purdue 32

Noon: PSU at IU: Indiana got spanked in East Lansing last week and Coach Paterno is more concerned about female drivers on campus then Indiana this week. PSU starting RB is in lock down at the local jail but JoPa can easily find a Linebacker to fill in. PSU continues to win as the White Out against OSU looms. Final Score: PSU 20 IU 10

The rest of the games are non-conference sleepers. NW vs Eastern Michigan, Wisconsin vs N. Illinois, and Minnesota vs North Dakota State.

Side Note: Hopefully Sammy runs for 300 yards tonight on ESPN 2!
