Bobby Dodd and DeBord

Lloyd Carr accepted the "Bobby Dodd" coach of the year award on Tuesday night. The award goes to a Division I football coach who represents integrity, scholarship and leadership. It seems Lloyd is keeping busy helping Bill Martin launch his sailboat and finding his old coaches new jobs.

  • Speaking of new jobs Mike DeBord is now a Seahawk. Not sure how they are going to use Mike yet, but he has a gig.
  • ARIZONA: The Cardinals signed ex-Michigan tight end Jerame Tuman, who had spent his entire nine-year career with Pittsburgh, to a two-year contract. Maybe he can room with Gabe Watson, Alan Branch, and Steve Breaston.
  • A good recap on Michigan's 2008 Recruiting Class from the Daily
  • Pryor still in the playoffs and still a heavy OSU lean.
  • MSU feeling for a QB in next year's class is "fair to Midland". Andrew Maxwell is MSU's latest commit for next year.
