Wolverine NightLine Updates

  • Beanie Wells and PJ Hill head to the NFL. That is some serious NFL poundage!
  • Sophomore wide receiver Junior Hemingway was granted a medical redshirt after getting mono and other injuries.
  • MSC points out that Michigan seems to be having trouble getting to 22 recruits for the 2009 class. Michigan has been at 21 recruits 3 times when someone has de-committed.
  • Dennis Thames will make an official visit to Michigan during the last weekend of January and the last weekend before signing day on 2/4. Dennis came to Ann Arbor this summer and was very impressed. His recruitment has been very quiet since. Dennis is a 4 star Safety/TE.
  • From the Weekly Ex-MSU Spartans Legal Blotter: Dixon Edwards III, former Michigan State linebacker admitted in court outside of Cincinnati that he hasn't paid over $70,000 in child support payments.
