I hope everyone had a safe a relaxing Memorial Day. It sure was nice enjoying a 3 day weekend after Jabrill became a Wolverine.
Some fun information regarding Mr. Peppers via Scouts (and Mgoblog): Peppers would be a four-star running back, and a four-star receiver, but he is best in the secondary, where he would be a five-star safety if his best position was not cornerback. He is physical on the jam, has the acceleration to play off a receiver and then close quickly to break up a pass. He has loose hips and the ability to close, and he enjoys shedding blocks and making tackles.
Scouts has Jarbill as the #4 CB and #11 player overall which is the lowest of all the services. Maybe it's because they can't figure out which position he would be a 5 star player at. Either way, please bring me your 4/5 star RB's, WR's, Safeties and Cornerbacks all in the same player every year! This kid is going to special! Look for an instant impact on defense.
- Chase Winovich will be on the Pitt campus today. Most insiders expect him to make a decision between Michigan and OSU in the next few weeks.
- Michigan Softball is in the Women’s College World Series against No. 1-seed Oklahoma on Thursday night at 9:30 on ESPN2.
