For the first time this year, we have a full slate of 6 Big Ten games this Saturday. Hard to believe but it's true.
The Big Ten Game of the Week:
Michigan at Michigan State: Will be previewed on Friday Morning.
The other 5 games:
Ohio State at Purdue: OSU always has a few teams they struggle with for some strange reason, Iowa at home and Purdue on the road. This years Purdue team probably won't put up too much of a test for the 4th ranked Buckeyes. Ohio State is favored by 31.5 points. Ohio State 51 Purdue 7
WGFM= Purdue win
Wisconsin at Iowa: I have been impressed by both teams this year. Iowa looks to be on the way back to respectability and Wisconsin should just have one loss to Ohio State. The Badgers are a 9.5 at Iowa. That is too many points in my mind. Wisconsin should win but much closer. Wisky 24 Iowa 21 WGFM= Wisconsin win
Illinois at Penn State: Both teams got embarrassed last weekend. Illinois was in a position to upset MSU and got blown out, Penn State forgot to show up against OSU and left with a huge blow out loss in C-Bus. Penn State is a 10 point favorite, which seems to be about right. Penn State 31 Illinois 20 WGFM= Doesn't matter
Minnesota at Indiana: IU has dreams of a bowl game and if they can earn a win on Saturday getting to 6 wins will be much easier. IU is coming off an offensive explosion against Michigan and Minnesota has wins over two solid programs in Northwestern and Nebraska after their trip to Ann Arbor. IU is a 9.5 favorite. I like IU in this game. Indiana 41 Minnesota 21 WGFM= IU win
Northwestern at Nebraska: Both teams are really trying to find their identity. Northwestern has dropped 4 Big Ten games in a row and Nebraska just lost to Minnesota last week. It's hard to believe NW is 0-4 in the Big Ten so far. I'm sure they will get healthy the week Michigan comes to town. This will be a good game to scout, as Michigan still has both teams on the schedule. Nebraska is a 7 point favorite. I think the Wildcats win this game. Northwestern 28 Nebraska 19
WGFM = NW win
