It's Obvious

that.................

  • Big Al can't game plan to save his life
  • Michigan has absolutely no pass rush
  • Michigan can't protect the QB
  • for Michigan's OC to call runs for Gardner in the 4th quarter is complete insanity
  • the game went exactly how everyone thought it would
  • Brady Hoke should be working for Greg Mattison not vice versa
  • Michigan's OC has no idea how to play call against the blitz
  • Michigan got out coached again
  • Devin did all he could and might be seriously injured
  • it's time for a change in the coaching staff, the offensive coaches should all be let go after the Texas Bowl  (Borges and Funk!)
  • Michigan needs a real QB coach
  • the defense played hard and tried to keep the Wolverines in the ball game
  • Brady Hoke has no idea what an F'ing offense is.  He is dropping F bombs when they break a long run with 2:00 minutes to play.   Really, that is the time you show emotion?  I'm not sure he understands what how to manage a game at all.
  • MSU will have been to two Big Ten Championships games since Hoke has gotten the job.  How many has he been to?
  • today's loss (if Gardner is seriously injured) could kill the rest of the season
  • outside of the defense today, it was a complete disaster all around

No game plan, No coaching =   -100 yard rushing and a blow out loss.

BTW:  I almost threw up, when they showed a view from behind Devin while he was getting hit and all our WR's were 30 yards down field.  Where are the "hot" routes?   Where are the screens?  A draw play?  Why are we letting lose State's best DE for Fitz to block when our All American tackle helps the guard?

This has to Funking stop!  It really does.   I don't even want to think about OSU in a few weeks.

Sure would have been nice to see a screen pass or twelve to slow down that pass rush.....We can't run the football (EVER) so basically we will never move the ball against a defense with a pulse. Is there really a reason to play action on 89% of the plays when running the ball is not working? Nobody is buying the fake. 1 criticism of the defense....our LB's are really horrible in zone pass D. Game in and game out. We had 2 weeks to prepare for this? It was the exact same defensive gameplan that they used vs Denard 2 years ago and we had no answer then and we still have no answer now. How many damn times are we going to allow them to blitz the AGap? The Guards looked confused all game long. This was just totally embarrassing.....

First off I love your views..your honesty and your viewpoint...after richfraud it really didn't matter who coached..as long as it was a warm body..HOKEAMANIA was running wild after year one..the promises of old school football...DOMINATE OL and power running backs danced in my head....yet what I saw today...D.Gardner running the ball like shoelace...OL doing its best titanic impression...I don't know what to think..our DC and OC are amazing recruiters...but now what....are we going to be like Notre Dame and have top 5 recruting classes..and be irrelevant???? My only saving grace is Florida State...jumbo started off cool yet kept getting top recruting clases..my friend I'd love a response...your pal George from Totonto

Its not Borges, he has shown he can play call and its not Mattison, he has shown that his defense can hold when needed.

It's the F**KING offensive line coach, FUNK. He is the reason we can't run and sacks are giving up. This game starts in the trenches and we are good on the defensive side, but our offensive line sucks and sounds like the offensive line coaches name "FUNK". We will continue to struggle against teams with funk being over the o-line.

Hoke is the one who has to let funk go now, not at the end of the year. We are a disaster on offense and if we keep playing like this those top recruits will go elsewhere. But i am close to saying FIRE BRADY HOKE as well, because he is not a leader for MICHIGAN FOOTBALL, and a team is a reflection of their leader.

We need to be proactive and not reactive,so lets get those "FIRE FUNK" signs at games and around Ann Arbor.

I believe Fitz has not been the same back as before his injury. Where was Green or Rawls?

NC Wolverine. I don't care if you bring the #1 back in the country in behing funk's dismall offensive line. No One can run behind BS. NC Wolverine, you fail to see our true issue. Another rb doesn't solve this issue. Another head coach or offensive line coach solves this issue.

Very true, but I wouldn't call for Hoke's head just yet. Yes it was a VERY frustrating loss. YES, the OLine is deplorable and Funk does need to GO. As for Fitz, he sucked last year too. he doesn't hit the hole hard. He lacks BURST. Then again, it's hard to have burst when all they run is the Read Option.....I'm so (bleepin) annoyed.....

Hoke is a good guy, but not the guy for UM. He's coy. I watched the games were we got our butts handed to us and he's smiling in the opposite coaches faces like he's happy to be shaking hands with him and they look at him like he's in their way. He lacks aggression and that is what we need to go to the next level.

Sad but true i wanted him before we brought RichRod in, cause i thought he had what it took by looking at his track record. I see why the AD before Brandon didn't hire him. Bo, Lloyd, Mo, and the others had that grind about themselves that Hoke lacks.

Too pissed right now. Will continue later

Watching the game with several UM and MSU alumni/alumna at Club 56 in Sacramento CA, I was totally embarrassed to be associated with UM. I hate to say it, but Brady Hoke has started to make Rich Rod look good. To remedy the issue we need a new coach now, not tomorrow. I wish that Tom Brady was retiring this year from the New England Patriots. I would like to have him as head coach for UM, as he is agressive and most importantly, someone who knows what it takes to be a top caliber football team in year 2013.

What hole were you people seeing that Fitz didn't hit? I feel sorry for him and Gardner. Seriously, there weren't any holes yesterday.. Haven't been too many all year. Green falls over like a sack of potatoes too cause the opponent is 2 yards in the backfield as soon as they get the ball. We can't block!!! A very basic, important fundamental of the game. It is not that hard to figure where the problem lies and we can't seem to get better at it. Going to be a long November .

Hoke is the pig and he is being gutted. He rolls over in these big games and allows these other coaches to do it to him.

MICHIGAN FOOTBALL needs a true leader if we are going to compete big time. Hoke is not it. Or are we changing the face of michigan were football is not that important. It just doesn't feel right to watch someone like hoke who has been around great tradition allow this program to fall by the waist side and say he has a great o-line coach in funk and know it is a lie. Who do we compare hoke to, cause he at this point doesn't remind me of those great MICHIGAN WOLVERINE coaches.

Let's throw names around on who might replace him if he doesn't replace funk, start getting more involved, and competing like a real MICHIGAN MAN would compete against these other teams.

First of all, just who are the great Michigan Wolverine coaches. Reminder: we've only won one NC in 60 years. Sure, we've had good ones, but great? Get real.

Secondly, people shouldn't even compare RR with Hoke. RR is doing quite well at Arizona in his second year. That's what we could've had if Michigan had ponied up the buck to bring his DC Casteel with him and if Lloyd hadn't been so busy undermining his success. RR had a legitimate resume and the numbers Arizona is putting up is impressive.

Hoke is not a good coach and his earlier track record proves it. He loves to give the excuse, "we didn't execute." Guess what? Getting your team to execute is YOUR JOB DESCRIPTION! If the team isn't executing, it's because the head coach isn't doing his job. I don't see the same problem at Alabama, Oregon, FSU, etc. Yeah,it's a high bar, but that's the level I expect Michigan to play at -- or at least look like they're moving toward.

6 points and -48 yards! Houston, Ann Arbor has a problem.

Can anyone, ANYONE, explain to me why we were able to march down the field on our fist possession, and again on the possession that ended in the Gardner's only interception? Why? Because the plays called were effective against the defense we were lined up against.... Amazing that we only did that TWICE in the entire f'ing game! yeah, Al can call the right plays, but he doesn't 90% of the time.
It is so damn painful to watch... at least with RR we put up points and made the oppenent catch us.
I wasn't in favor of Jim Harbaugh cause he's such a headcase, but Jesus.... if he'd have gotten the job over RR, maybe we wouldn't be the laughing stock of NCAA right now!

You can't blame AB for a piss poor offensive line. FIRE FUNK and things will start to look up
