Wolverine Wednesday: Night Game in Iowa

Sounds like the Michigan at Iowa game will be televised in primetime on November 12th.   That is going to be one cold football game with temperatures probably in the 30's.

  • ESPN lost more talent yesterday when it was announced that Skip Bayless contract was not going to be renewed.   Skip's talent was being the guy that Stephen A. Smith yelled at.

  • Four-star Cass Tech DB Jaylen Kelly-Powell continues to visit A2 and it seems his last visit was one of the best visits he has had.   I wouldn't be surprised if he made a commitment to the Wolverines in the next month or so.  Jaylen is related to four-star Detroit King CB Ambry Thomas.  Yes, please for the family defensive backfield.

  • Three-star Flint Southwestern DE Deron Irving-Bey cried when he got his Michigan offer.   His mom is a Michigan fan and his dad is a State fan.  He has offers from both programs.

  • Cass Tech three-star 2017 OG Jordan Reid is doing a mid-week visit to A2.

  • Michigan basketball commit Xavier Simpson is now a top 50 player on ESPN's new ratings and the #4 PG.

  • Former Wolverines news:  Cato June got a RB coach job at Howard and Mike Martin has signed with the Eagles.
