I think Press Conferences are just opportunities for coaches to miss lead or even lie to fans. The Devin Gardner turf toe is a recent example of miss leading information. So when a reporter gets to peak inside a coaches office or player area in Schembechler Hall, it interesting to see how the coaches run things.
The latest example comes from Mlive's Nick Baumgarder's twitter feed, when he snapped a photo of Greg Mattison's defensive grading system. If your not familiar with this process, during games and practices/scrimmages the defensive coaches will grade each player during each play. Were they in the right position? Did they make the tackle, etc. The player then receives a + or - points for that correct or incorrect action. A player with a ton of negatives, clearly understands the mistakes he has made and understands why he has lost playing time.
Here is Michigan's defensive grading system:
I wonder what are the positives line items that have been removed? Or maybe those are game specific.
I would also like to see the offensive grading system. I think they might need one just for the Oline.

Free Shoes University isn't strong in math, apparently....
Famous Jamis, who may have gotten a pass on the sexual assult charge, payed $0.00 for crab legs and shrimp at Publix.
When something smells fishy, you still gotta pay for it!
It blow my mind that he didn't think he wouldn't be recognized as a Heisman Trophy winner and NC QB.
Kinda brings back nostalgic memories of peter warrick's dillard's shopping prowes.... and bobby bowden's famous defense, "people are just trying to bring him down because he's a heisman front runner"
No coach, people are just wanting him held accountable for being a theif.. whether he is a star at Free Shoes University, or not.
