Wolverine Wednesday: No Roses for Bad Basketball

Michigan Basketball is a mess right now as they lost a game at Wisconsin when the Badgers didn't score a field goal for the last 10 minutes of the game.  The upside is Juwan didn't hit anyone coming off the court.  Juwan's record in close games is terrible at Michigan and this continues to be another disappointing year in Ann Arbor on the hardwood.  For some reason, Michigan can't have a good football program and basketball program at the same time.

  • It's been interesting to watch Miami (replace Gattis) and ND trying to fill their Offensive Coordinator roles.  Miami just hired Houston's OC and ND keeps searching as they balked at Utah's OC buyout of $2M.
  • Carolina and Indy both wanted former Lions QB Dan Orlovsky to be an offensive assistant coach.
  • Jett, Jace, and Tarris Reed are doing an NIL funded youth camp on Sunday at Huron High.
  • Michigan Football comes in at #3 in ESPN Pre-season rankings for next season
  • Thank you, John! The Ravens hire away Georgia OC Todd Monken
