The extended Michigan family lost a couple notable names over the weekend. Darius Morris passed away at 33. A cause of death has not been revealed. Darius spent two years at Michigan for Coach B and then was on a roster or played in 132 NBA Games. His most notable performance came in 2013 for the Lakers in a playoff game, where he replaced injured Kobe Bryant and scored 24 points. His last stint as a pro was for a French team in 2020.
Next is former football player Obi Ezeh has also passed away at 36 years old. Obi was a Wolverine from 2006-2010 and played in 50 games for the Maize and Blue. He was a former Freshman All-American and Big Ten Honorable Mention honored player. He recorded 293 tackles with 19.5 for loss and 3 sacks as a Wolverine. Obi played his high school football at Grand Rapids CC.

- The Michigan fueled Orlando Magic lost to Cleveland Cavs in a Game 7 on Sunday for a first round exit.
- 2 new Michigan 7 footers Vlad Goldin and Danny Wolf were both officially announced by the program.
- Michigan did secure another 2025 recruit on Friday afternoon when 4 star OT Avery Gach committed.
