Cell Block News and Notes: Wednesday Edition

  • Michigan Baseball plays the Mets even
  • Michigan loses to the Wildcats in Basketball. Nice job guys, way to keep building on your recent momentum.
  • Chris Carter is replacing Sean Salisbury as an ESPN NFL analyst. Too bad, I liked Sean's style.
  • Tom Izzo calls the Big Ten Network a "PR nightmare"
  • The Spartans get a verbal from a highly rated RB from Oak Park. Edwin Baker had offers from Michigan and some other SEC schools.
  • Mallet's waiver filed, no timetable for an answer. Good Luck with that one Bobby
  • Want to know why Alabama signed like 40 kids to this years class? This is why:
Two players were arrested in a span of six days, one player has been dismissed and linebacker Prince Hall has been indefinitely suspended. "It's a problem. It is a problem," Saban said Tuesday at a news conference. "Our team needs to have better discipline, judgment. We cannot tolerate poor judgment."
