Michigan Monday: A QB Might Want to Transfer to Michigan?

Lately it seems Quarterbacks have been transferring out of Ann Arbor and not in. Jason Forcier (Tate's brother), Ryan Mallet, and Stephen Threet have all taken the train out of A2 the last few years.

Well, former Miami quarterback Robert Marve is considering transferring to Michigan. Robert left Miami after his red-shirt freshman year after starting 11 games in 2008, throwing for 1,293 yards with nine touchdowns and 13 interceptions while splitting time with true freshman Jacory Harris.

Robert plans to visit Ann Arbor, and choose between the Wolverines, Nebraska, Purdue, Texas Tech, South Florida and UCLA. Marve's release from Miami allows him to transfer to any school except an ACC school, Florida, Tennessee or LSU.

  • The next big thing is Twitter! Even Rich Rod has a page!

  • Nick Sheridan took the first snap of spring ball. I expect Tate Forcier to take the first snap of the Western Michigan game.

  • Jewone Snow son of former Wolverine Garland Rivers visited Michigan during junior day. Jewone is a 6"1 middle LB for Canton McKinley.

  • Marvin Robinson, a 4 star Safety from Florida has Michigan leading over schools like; Florida, Ohio State, Tennessee, Nebraska, and many more. Marvin has 15 offers to date. “I love the atmosphere at Michigan,” he said. “Also I have a good relationship with the coaches already. They’ve been recruiting me for a while and I’ve gotten to know them well.” He says he’s being recruited by (quarterback) coach Rod Smith. “He’s a great guy,” Robinson said. “We’ve talked a lot about life and the little things too. He’s a good coach and I like how hard they are working to be on top again. “They are pretty excited about next year,” he said. “They signed two top quarterbacks who can run the spread option offense well and they should be much better. I love the history they have and I know they’ll be back.”
