Wolverine Wednesday: WR Recruiting Updates

As Michigan prepares for another night game (this would have been the third night game of the year but as we know Maryland was re-scheduled due to the weather) and a team that just lost their head coach to health concerns.  The loss of Jerry Kill gives this game another dynamic.   Michigan is a two touchdown favorite and now I expect the Golden Gophers will give extra special effort as they play for their head coach.

Both teams will be emotional for completely separate reasons.  Michigan is coming off a very difficult loss two weeks ago and the loss of the Little Brown Jug last year.  Plenty of story lines for the Big Ten Network's Primetime game.   The weather in Minneapolis can be a bit sketchy this time of year.  It's expected to be cloudy and a low of 43 degrees on Saturday.

  • Please come to Michigan!   Jimmy and staff just offered 2016 three star WR from Florida, Eddie McDoom.  He is 6'1 and 170 pounds and has offers from the likes of Florida, Clemson, OSU, Texas and many others.   This guys deserves a scholarship just for his last name!

  • Speaking of Florida WR's, 24/7 is reporting that Michigan leads for Miami WR Keyshawn "Pie" Young.  He is planning an official for the Rutgers game and has some big time offers from like the likes of Bama, Miami, USC and LSU.

  • Instate WR Donnie Corley will announce his decision on 12/8 between  Michigan State, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Tennessee and Michigan.  Many expect an MSU decision.

  • California WR Dylan Crawford will announce his decision at the Army All American Bowl in January.  He is considering  Michigan, USC, Stanford, Oregon, Arizona, Arizona State, Miami, Tennessee and Washington.
